USF Graduation Photographer / Photo Spots

Best USF Graduation Photo Spots

My favorite places to shoot grad portraits at USF, with the best time of day for each. In a session we usually cover two or three of these, routed so the light and crowds work in your favor.

01

St. Ignatius Church

Best time: Overcast or afternoon

The architectural centerpiece of USF. The steps and facade are classic for formal portraits, and the interior light is beautiful for detail shots.

02

Lone Mountain Steps

Best time: Golden hour

Iconic location with panoramic views of San Francisco. Works especially well in late afternoon and golden hour.

03

Kalmanovitz Hall

Best time: Midday (shaded)

Modern architecture with clean lines and shade. Good option for a different visual texture within the same session.

04

Campus Green / Quad Area

Best time: Afternoon

Open lawn with good shade from mature trees. Relaxed and versatile for group shots or candid frames.
